Operations

The jobs are not the problem. The problem is the quote you meant to send on Tuesday, the invoice from three weeks ago, and the fact that the only complete record of the schedule is in your head.

What you get: Quotes out the same day, invoices out on time, and nothing sitting in a pile.

What we run

  • The path from enquiry to quote to job to invoice — written down once, then run every day
  • Quotes and invoices, sent on time and chased when they are not paid
  • Scheduling and job tracking, in one place we can both see
  • Supplier, subcontractor and document admin
  • A weekly check that nothing has quietly stalled

What stays yours

We are not trying to take over your business. This is the part only you can do.

  • Pricing the work
  • Deciding which jobs to take and which to turn down
  • The final call on anything that costs money

We write down how the business already works

Not how it should work. How it does. Who calls, what you say, what you send, what happens if they go quiet, when you invoice, what happens when they do not pay.

Most owners have never seen this written down, and it is usually the first time the actual cost of the gaps becomes obvious.

Then we fix the most expensive gap first

Not the most annoying one. The most expensive one. Usually it is quote speed: the time between someone asking and you answering is the single biggest predictor of whether you get the job.

Then we run it

The routine becomes ours. You get a weekly summary of what came in, what went out, what is waiting on you, and what is stuck. Nothing needs chasing because chasing is the job.

Questions people ask

Do I have to change all my software?

No. We start with what you already use. If a tool is genuinely costing you time we will say so and show you the cost, but replacing working software is rarely the first thing that needs fixing.

Will you have access to my bank or card details?

No. We prepare and send invoices and chase payment. Money moves through your accounts, authorised by you.

How much of my time does this take?

Most in the first two weeks, while we write down how your business actually works. After that, a short weekly call and answering questions when something genuinely needs your decision.
